Rising Tides Benefits Group is a family-owned insurance agency in St. Augustine, Florida. Since 2019, we've helped individuals, families and businesses across Florida find health coverage they understand and can count on, with a real person in their corner every step of the way.
Why I Started Rising Tides
My career has always centered on people: listening to what they need, explaining their options clearly and helping them protect the families and businesses they've worked so hard to build. But the moment that truly shaped my work came when my own family needed that protection.
My son was born at just 28 weeks and spent 81 days in the NICU at Wolfson Children's Hospital. Those days were the hardest of our lives. The medical bills climbed so high that we stopped counting at $4 million. But in the middle of all that fear, there was one thing I could tell my wife with complete confidence: we were covered. We didn't have to worry about losing our home or our savings. We could focus on our son.
That moment changed how I see my work. Insurance isn't about paperwork or premiums. It's about giving families peace of mind when life turns upside down. It drove me to start Rising Tides Benefits Group in 2019, with a passion for helping people get prepared before a crisis, not after.
